A Few Words From the Webmaster

My first exposure to Pauley Perrette, the actress, was a short-lived television sitcom. Over a five-episode span, I was intrigued by her. Pauley's rather abbreviated screen time hinted at so much more, and that unmistakable voice resonated with depth. And, she was funny. 

Just after the show ended its run, I hopped on the internet, hoping to find something else I could see her in. At that point in time, her credits were fairly scarce, but there was a contact address at the IMDB, so I decided to write her a letter. I scanned a few video stores in the area for The Price of Kissing, but came up empty. I wasn't even sure it had been released.

Some weeks later, I got back a photo and a nice note mentioning Jesse, Veronica's Closet, and the news that she was co-starring in the new Jennifer Love Hewitt series that eventually became Time of Your Life.  I was excited to hear back from her, and the various projects sounded promising, but Miss P. was relegated to the back of my mind until...

I happened to be at the video store, killing time, and a familiar face caught my eye. The video I saw was The Price of Kissing.  As luck would have it, there was also a copy for sale. I bought it immediately, watched it, and marveled at Pauley's performance. With reports of Time of Your Life debuting in the fall, the thought of creating a website kept crossing my mind. On August 26, 1999 (just to be exact) I took the plunge and put up a site with all that I had been able to compile. 

That might have been it, except I still had Pauley's note, and there was an e-mail address on it. I sent a message with the URL, since I had to start letting people know about it anyway. A few hours later, I got a message back from the Pauley herself. We swapped e-mails for a few days, and the site now had an inside source.

From that point on, my respect for Pauley Perrette grew further than simply that of a talented actress. Pauley has so many sides, personally and professionally. Most people get to enjoy the public work of Pauley the actress, Pauley the singer, Pauley the photographer, etc. I feel really lucky over the years to have been able to communicate with Pauley the passionate individual and Pauley the generous soul.

While I am really sorry to say that I no longer have the time to keep this site up to date, I hope you'll enjoy what's here and continue to be a fan of Pauley's!
